Hello,
we've a bit problems with Patchmanager and Scopes...
LD9 SP2
Most of our LANDesk users are added in more than one scope, because they are responsible for more than one site.
If the user open "All devices" in network view, he see all clients from all of his scopes, queries are working, software deployment is working, RC, etc...
But if a user want to know which clients are "Affected computers" of a patch it's different.
Right-click on the patch, choose "Affected computers..." and a list of computers will be created. It seems it works, but only for parts of his clients.
If a user is added in several scopes he'll see only these clients which are showed by the first scope in alphabetical order.
In the filter you'll see "All Items (scope xxx)" instead of "All Items".
So the user has to create a own filter for every scope!
This problem occur in Patchmanager only! There is no possibility to create a filter which contain ALL scopes of a user!
I would understand, if there exist the possibility to reduce the number of clients with the filter by scope, but I don't understand, why they can't see all!
Perhaps we make something wrong in configuration or there exist a secure config entry in a hidden config file in a deep directory structure of ldmain...
Regards
Axel
