Replacing WSUS with LANDesk Patch Manager

Hi again folks, sorry to be bombarding the forums with questions tonight but I have yet another question, seeking everyone's thoughts and opinions.  We are going to use Patch Manager to replace WSUS.  When decommissioning WSUS, what have folks done with their existing registry entries to disable WSUS on the clients?  Currently we are running both until we're caught up with the additional patches that Patch Manager has.  I have read Jack's article which is pretty much cut n' dry (great stuff!).  But does anyone have any suggestions or opinions as to how they terminated WSUS on the client?  So far, I am using the following registry script.  It works but I'm not quite sure if it is the best practice.  (Local workstations, we're not in a domain so no group policy)

Thanks in advance!

Rich
