One or More Patches Failed

A group of servers were scheduled to patch this weekend.  Approx 90% went off without incident.  But I have a handful of servers that reported "One or more patches failed" error.   Here are the snippets from 2 separate log files from 2 separate servers for 2 different patches:

Server 1 error message
======================

3788 Executing C:\Program Files\LANDesk\LDClient\sdmcache\office2003-kb948988-fullfile-enu.-DBNaw.exe /q:a /c /t:"C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\TempPatchMgrDir\"

  3788 REPLACETEXTINFILE: file
  3788 REPLACETEXTINFILE: file
  3788 Executing C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\TempPatchMgrDir\ohotfix.exe
  3788 Failed (timed out) waiting for process (handle 0x5fc).  Timeout was 300000 milliseconds
  3788 ERROR(EXECUTEFILE) Failed to run command  - 80004005
  3788 DownloadPatch ERROR: Failed to run commands (80004005).

Server 2 error message
=======================

3024 Patch name : 'ndp1.1sp1-kb947742-x86.-lfBUA.exe'
  3024
  3024 Command Interpreter running
  3024 Executing C:\Program Files\LANDesk\LDClient\sdmcache\ndp1.1sp1-kb947742-x86.-lfBUA.exe /q /passive /norestart
  3024 ERROR:
  3024 ERROR(EXECUTEFILE) Failed to run command  - 80004005
  3024 DownloadPatch ERROR: Failed to run commands (80004005)

Any suggestions on what Failed to run commands (80004005) refers to?  I'm going to try to run the same patches manually to see what happens.

Thx
