Is there a way to scan but NOT patch MS vulnerabilities? Additionally, I would like to scan AND patch non-MS vulnerabilities.
The environment currently uses WSUS but will eventually migrate to LD patching. This plan is 6 to 12 months out.
Ideally, I would like a Scan and Patch setting that would show all current MS vulnerabilities but not remediate them. At the same time, I need to scan and patch all non-MS vulnerabilities (such as Adobe, Java, etc...). This would give me the ability to identify and report on all vulnerabilities while maintaining patch capabilities for non-ms vulnerabilities.
Is this possible with 1 single scan and patch setting? If not, what would be a good alternate approach?
