Scheduling a patch to run every so many hours

When I right click on a stask in LANdesk, I have the option to run or run on all devices or on all devices that did not succeed. Naturally, I normally have the task only run again on devices that did not succeed.

Can I assume that when I schedule a task and have it scheduled task repeat every so many hours will do the same? Subsequent runs will only look for machines where the task did not run successfully earlier?
