Unable to open registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes.... when patch manager deploying Capicom MS07-028 patch

Hello,

There are many PCs at our company that need the Capicom MS07-028 patch.    I am able to manually install the patch, but LanDesk will not install the patch.   The error we receive is  Unable to open registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CAPICOM.Certificates.4\CLSID

I noticed in the registry of these pcs there are several hives that exist under Classes:

named  "CAPICOM.Certificate"   etc   and  "CAPICOM.Certificates"  etc.
